What is dutching?
Dutching is the process of placing bets on opposing outcomes across two or more bookmakers to cover all possible results. Instead of hedging at Betfair, you hedge at another bookie. The two bets cancel each other out, keeping your qualifying loss low while giving you exposure to promos at multiple bookmakers simultaneously.
A simple example: betting on Heads at one bookie and Tails at another. The two bets offset each other and your overall risk is the difference between the two stakes.
Why dutching is powerful
When two or more bookmakers have promos running on the same event, dutching lets you position yourself to benefit from multiple promos at once. By placing your bets strategically across the two sides of the market, you can give yourself a chance at several promo payouts from a single qualifying loss. On a good play, multiple promos can trigger at once, producing returns that far exceed what a single back and lay would generate.
Dutching is also useful for wagering requirements and mug betting. Because you are placing bets at two bookmakers simultaneously, you get double the turnover for the same effective cost.
For advanced members, dutching can also identify arbitrage and middle opportunities, extracting value from accounts that are no longer eligible for promos.
The Dutching Software
The Bonusbank Dutching Software scans bookmaker odds and compares them against other bookmakers in real time, in the same way the ATM compares bookmakers against Betfair.
The main table shows all available dutching opportunities. Each row displays the event, market, outcomes, bookmakers offering the best odds, and the P/L and SNR returns based on a default $100 stake. A green box around the P/L figure indicates an arbitrage opportunity where a profit is guaranteed regardless of the result. Pro members typically see 100+ arb opportunities available at once. On Plus and Basic tiers arbs are less common but the table is still useful for wagering, mug betting, and bonus bet conversion.
Clicking any row opens the Dutching Calculator, where you can change bookmakers, adjust stakes, switch between exact and rounded amounts, and see the expected return when using a bonus bet instead of cash.
The software includes filtering by bookmaker, sport, league, odds range, time until event, and profit or SNR percentage. You can save filter configurations for regular use. A Quick Search lets you find opportunities involving a specific bookmaker, team, or player instantly.
On mobile the software defaults to Compact Mode, which displays opportunities as cards rather than a table. This is also available on desktop for members who prefer it.
The markets and bookmakers available depend on your membership tier. See the Market Coverage page for the full breakdown.
