What should my Betfair settings be?

Betfair allows a degree of customization when viewing their website. You can adjust your settings to your own preferences, although there are two that will impact your use of our racing software Horse Power, Bet View and Refresh rate. You can access these by hitting the settings option on the top right.

The Bet View will determine how granular the indication of liquidity is in the market. If you have this set low you will see all amounts, even if there is not enough to meet your desired lay stake. If you have this set high it will aggregate the liquidity into the odds matching your settings. We suggest having this set at $1 so you can see all movements in the market.

The Refresh Rate will change how often Betfair updates these odds for you, we suggest having this set at 1 second so you always have the most current information.

Both of these settings will affect the data received by Horse Power, as it is read straight from your browser.
