Minimum runners for bonus back promos

With bonus back promos, EV is higher on races with less runners. This is because there is a higher chance of the horse placing (and thus qualifying for the bonus).

Bookies are aware of this, which is why most will have a minimum number of runners in order for a race to be eligible for the bonus back promotion. Some bookies make it easy to find this number - simply click the promo, click terms and conditions, and it will take you straight to a page with the answer. Some bookies however do not make it so easy - you will have to search through T's & C's to find the right section, and find if they state a minimum number of runners.

Another way to find the minimum runners is by crowd sourcing in the discord. There is a list in #t-and-cs, however it can be inaccurate, as bookies change their T's & C's.
